CEUR Foundation
The CEUR Foundation was set up in 1990 by a group of Professors, entrepreneurs and professionals and it is an institution aimed at educating and promoting culture by offering young people attending the university the best conditions to successfully build their own future.
The learning and education program put forward by CEUR focuses on the centrality of the person and fosters a positive and qualified university experience giving young people insight and guidance to face their future working environment. The CEUR Foundation was set up in 1991 after the brilliant idea of some private entities – Professors, entrepreneurs and professionals – joining together to attain a shared objective: to create a public service infrastructure in the field of education in order to provide for the needs of students in terms of accommodation, learning activities, personal interests, but also research and job opportunities.
The Foundation’s operational goals are recognised as having a great social value and are pursued thanks to the cooperation of public entities such as the Ministry and the University as well as private entities.Since its official recognition as a legal entity in 1991 with a Ministerial decree, the Foundation acts in cooperation with the University and Research Ministry and with other Italian Universities to build and run Excellence University Colleges making up the network of the University Colleges that are officially recognised and monitored by the Ministry.
